We are very pleased to officially announce the start of the GAMBAS Project on the first of January 2021.
GAMBAS (Galileo Advanced features for Maritime domain: Breakthrough Applications for Safety and Security) is a European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Framework project. Its beneficiary is the European Global Navigation Satellite systems Agency (GSA) under the Grant Agreement 101004292.
The project’s aim is to exploit European GNSS Agency‘s #Galileo satellite system and it’s advanced features in order to develop innovative solutions for #maritime #safety and #security.
Thanks to its consortium between Thales Alenia Space (France), Thales Hellas (Greece), ECA Group (France), Pildo Labs (Spain) and Synthetica P.C (Greece), the project will focus on Mediterranean Sea.
We would like to thank the supporters of the project (Direction des Affaires Maritimes (DAM), SASEMAR, Piraeus Port Authority (PPA), Star Bulk and Safe Cluster) that confirm the high interest of Maritime actors in the capacity of Galileo to bring new solutions for Maritime Domain.
We hope the project will reach its goals and objectives travelling on Safe Seas!!
